Lumber- men and bankers, representing the bulk of the producing power of the lumber Industry in this state and a fair percentage of the output of tho entire northwest, appeared bofore Secretary of Commerce Redfleld hero today and asked his support In oppos-ing oppos-ing such pending national legislation against trusts as might Interfere with the development of foreign trade. -M The delegation desired that no laws be passed by congress, aimed at restraint of trade, which would pre-vent pre-vent pooling of the Pacific coast lum-bcrmen lum-bcrmen in exploiting foreign lumber markets.
