Show NEW MEN TO FILL PLACES ON TEAMS Because of the great interest in the intercollegiate championships this year and the fact that so many of last year's men have graduated, there is greater interest than ever in. the relay re-lay races, which will be held at the University of Pennsylvania next month. Jim Wendell, who competed last year for Wesleyan and was one of the greatest hurdlers In America, is no longer in college and a great effort is being made to develop a man to take his place. Potter of Yale has been doing sood. work all winter, while his greatest rival, Jackson of Harvard was laid up with a bad shin. Jackson will resume training next week. Cornell has been making a special effort to develop Shelton Into a champion. Wefnrs at Columbia has a very fast man In Brady. 1-liilman at Dartmouth says that his man, Braun, Is much Improved and will be a close contender for championship honors.
