Show EXTRA SESSION MUSTBE HELD New York Senate and House Disagree Over Big Appro? priation Bills. Albany, N. Y., March 28. The New York legislature adjourned sine die early today, there being unfinished business that will require its return in extraordinary' session. The senate and the house disagreed over appropriation appro-priation bills. The lower house quit business abruptly at 3:27 o'clock this morning without sending notice to the senate and tho governor. Senators, regardless regard-less of party, expressed resentment, but they' procee'd. placidly, ending -t,helr .session, ' o'clock. The JpprJpi ..uu uill, over which tho , two houses disagreed, involved about 31,200,000. As amended by the senate, the total was $17,000 less than when approved by the house. The assembly's objections were based on an alleged juggling of the items assemblymen said the senate cut out $500,000 for hospital and other oth-er necessary departments, to get money for carrying on two departments depart-ments which the assembly wished to abolish, the state fire marshal's bureau bu-reau and the department of efficiency and economy. It also was contended that some of the altcratlonns were intended to cripple so-called Republican Repub-lican departments in tho way of reprisal. re-prisal. Houses at Cross Purposes.
