Show FUNERAL OF MRS CLARK MOORE high tribute to the character of the deceased the funeral services over the remains ot the late mrs alna herrack dark moore were held at the mound fort ward meeting house at 2 thursday afternoon bishop james taylor presiding the meeting house was crowded with sympathizing and the floral tributes were both numerous and beautiful he services were commenced by the choir singing thou not weep to weep alone the opening prayer was offered by elder hans madsen after which the choir rendered a selection entitled sister thou wast mild and lovely hon lorin farr who had been acquainted quain ted with the deceased since her childhood days was the first speaker and said that her lifes work had been one of usefulness he also dwelt upon the eternity of the spirit mrs emily mad dock then sang a solo entitled 1 I know that my redeemer lives bishop robert president C F middleton and bishop james tay lor also spoke eulogizing the life ot the deceased referring to her many virtues and her devotion to her religious work saying that they believed there were few people on this earty who had lived u more model and ideal life than the deceased that she possessed the qualities which endeared her to all with whom she associates associate 4 bishop taylor spoke especially her labors in the mound fort ward covering many years as president 0 the relief society where she had oc a work that would live la the memory of the people tor a ions time after her remains had been laid in the silent tomb the choir sang home sweet home after which the benediction was pronounced by elder joseph parry A funeral cortege several block long followed the remains to the osden city cemetery they acra interred the grave being dedicated b elder joseph hall |
