Show BUT GRACE COLVIN CARED NOT FOR HOME county attorney and juvenile court have girls case under consideration from wednesdays standard you can send me to jail or to the reform school but I 1 wont stay home these were the words of grace colvan in the juvenile court this morning still defiant and showing no appreciation of the unenviable position which she occupies the girl was arraigned before judge patton in the juvenile court on the charge of ancor risibility her testimony was at direct variance with the statements that she bad made at the time of her arrest and resulted in the exoneration of waller chatlain and J H nelson two of the boys that she implicated in iha case at the time of her arrest the boys who were alleged to have been implicated were all in court and three admitted that they had had improper relations with the girl the two mentioned denied that they were implicated and the girl supported them in their mrs colvin the alria mother was in court and requested that the girl be allowed to go under suspended sentence to this arrangement judge patton was to a certain degree favorable but on the girls own statement that she would not remain at home the judge took the matter of her final disposition under advisement to the reporters the girl said that if sh e were sent homo she would at the first opportunity leave and that tha next time that she she would go to california this noon detective pender telephoned to judge patton to hold the girl as the county attorney wished to see him before he disposed of the case accordingly the girl is being held at aba city jail pending a final decision regarding her case the boys in the case were discharged |
