Tho Reno Gazette ghes Mr. Sadlier this parting recognition "Arrangements were concluded today to-day for the taking over of tho lease on the Overland hotel by Alex Dromiac, from Charles Sadller. The transfer will take placo at midnight tomorrow and Mr. Dromiac will personally manage man-age the business. "A day or two later, Mr. Sadlier will -depart for San Francisco, where he has purchased a half interest in tho Grand Hotel on Turk and Taylor Btreets, This is one of the finest furnished fur-nished hotels on the coast and contains con-tains 200 rooms. "The departure of Mr. Sadller removes re-moves one of the most prominent men in public affairs He is a city councilman, mayor protem. president of tho stato agricultural society, president presi-dent of the Reno automobile club, president of the Reno rifle, shotgun and revolver club, and vice president of tho Interurban railroad, of which he was one of the promoters "He has conducted the Overland hotel ever since it was completed, nearly ten jiears ago. Although he will hae headquarters at San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Mr. Sadlier will come frequently frequent-ly to Reno to look after the affairs of the Overland Annex which he retains. re-tains. Mrs. Sadlier will remain here for a few weeks. "Mr. Sadller will not resign his po- sltlon as councilman for some time, as his business affairs In this city will keep him here a considerable portion i of his time." |
