Show (JOCIEIY KITCHEN SHOWER. A kitchen shower was given by Mrs A S. Teague and Miss Hazel Greenwell Saturday night In compliment compli-ment to MIsb Aurella Burton. The parlors of the Teague home wore attractive at-tractive in their adornment of green and white, ferns, and roses predominating, pre-dominating, and the dining room was decorated with pink and white roses, making a pretty setting for the dalntj luncheon that was served. Tho lawn was effectively lighted with Japanese lanterns and seats, hammocks and little lit-tle tables were nlcelj' arranged Games and songs were enjoyed, Miss Wealtha Plncock receiving first prize in the game of hearts, and Miss Loretta Greenwell carrying off the booby prize. Kitchen utensils of every desription were the offerings to the young bride-to-be, together with congratulations from the merry guests Those present wore: "Messrs. Earl Burton, A. Brough, formerly of Ogden, but now of Los Angeles, Is in the city greeting a host of old friends, while making a stopover en route to Yellowstone park. Many new homes and business blocks that would be a source of pride In any city are noted by Mrs. Brough, but in a sroll down Washington Washing-ton avenue, only two familiar faces, Dr. Driver and J. S. Lewis, were seen among the pedestrians who crowded the main thoroughfare. Many will remember Mrs. Brough as the daughter of Major Stephens, former mayor and postmaster of Ogden, Og-den, and as assistant in tne local office of-fice for eight years. Her sons, Hill-man, Hill-man, now a professor in the schools of Fayettevlle, Arkansas, and Knight, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, will also be remembered by a large number of old friends. 3Irs. Brough reports her father as baving gained a new lease on life and enjoying himseif in large measure in his pleasant nomo in Los Angeles. BIRTHDAY PARTY. A birthday party was given in honor of Mrs. Geo. Seager at 2C14 Madison laBt evening. An enjoyable evening was spent, after which a dainty luncheon lun-cheon was served. She was the recipient re-cipient of many beautiful presents. The guests departed -wishing Mrs. Sea-gers Sea-gers many happy returnB of the day. BUSY BEE CIRCLE. The first meeting of the Busy Bee Sewing circle was held at tho home of Miss Bonna Browning and. elected officers as follows: Roberta Grles, president; Mildred Browning, vice-president; Bonna Browning, treasurer; Blanche Browning, Brown-ing, secretary. THIMBLE CLUB. The Sego Lily Thimble club -will meet with Mrs, J. A. Murdock, 2927 Grant avenue, Wednesday afternoon All are cordially invited. MRS. O'BRIEN TO ENTERTAIN. Mrs. W. J. O'Brien will entertain the ladled of St, Joseph's Sewing society so-ciety at St. Joseph's hall next Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Mrs. E M.
