Show w NO BLOCKING OF HIGHER COURT Judge Howell yesterday refused to consider propositions from attorneys attor-neys for continuances in the hearing of cases that had been continued before. be-fore. The judge stated that if he were to accede to the wishes of counsel in those matters he would likely never get through with the calendar. The court remarked that he had tried it to find out how It would work and that, as a result, he had done no business bus-iness for the past two months. Trials set for tho July term aro as follows: G.
