Honoring Mrs. Priscilla " Van j Orden, who observed her 80;h. birthday anniversary last Thurs-I Thurs-I day, members of her family en- tertained at a reception and lawn j party at the home of Mr. and j Mrs. Erwin Van Orden. j A delicious picnic luncheon was j served on the lawn which was I covered with a lovely lace cloth and centered by a decorated birthday cake. Thirty-six members of the Immediate Im-mediate family attended. They were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Van Orden and five daughters of Bancroft, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hatch of Bancroft, Idaho; Ida-ho; Mrs. Harold Redford of Po-catello, Po-catello, Idaho; Mrs. Leon Green of Moscow, Idaho; Mrs. Ross Redford of Bancroft, Idaho; Mrs. Thad Yost of Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Van Orden and family, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Van Orden and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil LeFever and family of Lewiston and Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Van Orden Or-den and family of Bountiful. Mrs. Van Orden was born in Kaysville, July 31, 1862, a daughter daugh-ter of William and Katherine Payne. She was married to Wil-lard Wil-lard Van Orden, January 26, 1881 and they moved to Logan to make their home. She is the mother of eleven children, five of which are now living. She has nineteen grandchildren grand-children and ten great-grandchildren. s Mr. Van Orden died April 26, 1937 and since that time she has N lived alone at her home in Lewiston. |
