Cope in the Logan temple. Smithfield Girl Becomes Bride Of Robert Cope Prominent among the late July weddings was that of Miss Fern Moore of Smithfield, and Mr. Robert Ro-bert L. Cope of Richfield, who exchanged vows in the Logan temple last Friday. President Joseph Jo-seph Quinney Jr., performed the ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. .and Mrs. Samuel D. Moore of Smithfield. She is a graduate of Utah State Agricultural college and filled an L. D. S. mission to the Northwestern states. During the past year she has taught school at Richfield. Mr. Cope is a graduate of Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University at Provo and has filled an L. D. S. mission mis-sion to California. He is principal of the Central school in Richfield. Rich-field. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Moore entertained at a wedding reception at their home, 91 West First North in Smith-field. Smith-field. The bride wore a lovely gown of white taffeta and carried a bouquet of pastel colored roses. She chose as her attendants. Misses Zina and Lanice Moore and Miss Georgia Cope, acting as bride's maids . and Miss Luella Moore as maid of honor. Frank Cope, brother of the bride, acted as best man. A maderia lace cloth over pink satin covered the serving table which was centered by a crystal bowl of white and pink sweet peas. Lighted white tapers banked the centerpiece. Assisting with the serving were Alice Weeks, Ruth Jenson, Lois Gyllenskog, Ruth Gyllenskog, Jean Whitt, Loraine Hillyard, Gwen Michaelson, Gwen Miles, Marilyn Coleman, Theoda Downs, Venna Michaelis and Roma Erickson. |
