Show CHRISTIANSCIENCE "Truth" is the subject of the lesson-sernton at the Sunday service ser-vice of the Christian Science Society So-ciety in Milford July 28. TJie Golden Text is: "O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. For thy mercy is great above the heavens, and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds" (Psalms 108: 1, 4). Included in the Scriptural reading read-ing is the following:. "And, bo-hold, bo-hold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed togdther, and could in no wise lift up herself. her-self. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified glori-fied God" (Luke 13: 11-13). Correlative reading includes the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Scrip-tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "Truth never made error necessary, neces-sary, nor devised a law to perpetuate per-petuate error. The supposed laws which result in weariness and disease are not His laws, for the legitimate and only possible action of Truth is the production of harmony" (p. 183). |
