Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deardon left for their home at Redlands, Calif., this week. Ralph Meldrum and family left Monday for Sunbeam, Colo., to spend the summer months. Marshall Levi, of Salt Lake City, is here visiting at the home of his brother. J. E. Weeks left Saturday for Los Angeles, Calif., to spend his vacation with his family. Miss Peggy Nichols, of Salt Lake City, is spending a few days at the home of her dad Herbert Nichols. R. R. Kannert is down from Salt Lake City and is working on this board again. K. B. Coon and family left Saturday Satur-day for Compton, Califs, for a brief visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Coon. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. L. Tomsik are the proud parents of a 7 pound baby daughter, which arrived at the Milford hospital Monday night. The losing team in the rabbit hunt staged a private dance at the Arion Hall Saturday night for their successful suc-cessful competitors and their ladies. About fifteen couple enjoyed the evening. Mrs. Harry Woods has been very sick for a week and obliged to keep to her bed. But friends report she is improving. L. F. Block of the Frisco Silver Lead Mine left Monday for his home at Salt Lake City after spending a few days looking after business affairs af-fairs at the mine. Milton Hearn and family, of Pres-cott, Pres-cott, Ariz., arrived the last of the week and are visiting at the H. M. Hearn home. j Willis Rogers has leased the I "Shorty" Trenholm barber shop in the Victory Theatre building, and took possession the first of the week. A number of Milford people attended at-tended the funeral Friday of Jack Mathews at Beaver. Among them were C. T. Martin, Mrs. J. R. Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Sr., Walter Muir, Mrs. L. D. McFadden, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Levi, F. R. Levi, Marshall Levi, Bert and Kathrine Smithson. |
