OCR Text	Show ST. GEORGE SEND CHICKENS TO COAST The first shipment of chickens supplied sup-plied by the Dixie Products company last November was sent to California markets this week. A truckload of turkeys was also shipped. Due to the present market condition condi-tion .taking into consideration feather feath-er loss and the cold storage investment invest-ment in St. George and Los Angeles, it is believed to be more economical to supply the markets with live birds. Weekly orders from the Boulder dam and Las Vegas sections have been received and shipments .will be , started there next week. ! The company plans to buy each Monday colored chickens from flocks other than those supplied by it. These chickens will be conditioned at the Washington plant. They also expect ; to go into the egg marketing business.
