Show MILFORDITES SWEL CROWD AT BUE DOG CONCERT IN BEAVER I Milford's representation at the concert con-cert given by the Bull Dog Band of the Pasadena Jr. College in Beaver Tuesday evening, displayed the appreciation ap-preciation of our people when there is a good program to be heard. The concert was sponsored by the Beaver Lions club and the Milford Lions gave them thqir support by taking a large delegation over to Beaver that evening. All who attended felt that the trip was well worth while and considered the concert rendered by this organization organi-zation one of the best ever presented in this county. Audre L. Strong, director di-rector of this one hundred-piece band, not only has a wonderful aggregation of well developed musicians in this youthful band, but has a personality that added pleasure for the large audience in the evening's entertainment. entertain-ment. The program was well selected; one that appealed to all classes, and which included popular classics, vocal and instrumental. In all, everyone felt well repaid for their trip to Beaver, and nothing but praise is heard for the Bull Dog band of the Pasadena Jr. College. One of the largest attended dances ever held in the Legion hall in Beaver Beav-er followed the concert. |
