Show Prices on Utah farm produce and livestock now are at the lowest ebb since 1910, according to a report sent out this week by W. Preston Thomas, agricultural experiment station. Using 100 as a basic average we find that livestock shows an average decrease from normal of 24, while farm crops generally are down 3 points; on the same basis, milk, butter, but-ter, eggs vary downward from 6 to 45 points. Potatoes are down 64 points; apples ap-ples are up 6 points; hogs down 41; veal down 39; sheep down 35; lambs down 33; wool down 34; and beef down 38. |
