Show MILLARD COUNTY VOTE FOR SCHOOL BONDS Voters of Millard county school district Saturday gave their approval for a $75,000 bond issue, proceeds of which will be used to continue schools for the current term, or until the end , of May.' The vote was 476 in favor, 33G against. The communities which gave the issue affirmative votes were Hinckley, Delta, Fillmore and Deser-et. Deser-et. Negative majorities were registered regis-tered in Scipio, Holden, Meadow, Oak City, Leamington and Lynndyl, with some small precincts yet to be heard from. Superintendent Winfred Paxton said that, had the bonds failed, schools would have been compelled to close at once. |
