Returns home H. T. Howes arrived here Saturday from Salt Lake City to spend a few days with his family and visit with his wife who is ill. To Salt Lake Myron Lewis made a trip to Sale Lake City Tuesday. From Cedar Mrs. Fenton Young arrived here from Cedar Saturday to visit with Claudia Trenholm. She left on Tuesday Tues-day for Nephi where she will visit with her mother. Ill Letha Schow, city clerk, was confined confin-ed to her home by illness Friday. Returns home Mrs. K. G. Link returned from a vacation in California last week. To Cedar Mildred Killam, Hannora Hutchins, P.emi Connell and Tom Marshall made a trip to Cedar City Saturday night to attend the dance. , From Beaver Earn Pearce of Beaver spent Saturday Satur-day here attending to business. Increased production The local creamery is producing a thousand pounds of butter a day, a hundred per cent increase since Christmas. Mrs. Fred Kennedy of Salt Lake on her return from Las Vegas stopped over here Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wynaught. From Ogden Mr. and Mrs. Krempke of Ogden spent Friday and Saturday here visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Jarold Carlson. Convalenscent Mrs. Ethyl Osborne who underwent an operation ta'i. day is reported improving. Returns home Mrs. A. II. Emerine was dismissed from the Milford Hospital Tuesday and returned to her home in Zane. Utah. Operation Mrs. G. Parry of Cedar was operated operat-ed on Saturday at the Milford Hospital. Hospi-tal. Returns home Mrs. Helena McGarry who has just recovered from a serious case of pneumonia was released from the hospital Monday. Her many friends in Milford are happy over her fortunate fortun-ate recovery. Picnic A group of boys, Deacons of the M. I. A., went on a hike Saturday, Roy Miller supervising. Mining men here John Matson, H. M. Browu and C. S. Goddard of Salt Lake were here this week looking over their mining interests. Business visitors V. Edwers of San Francisco and W. M. Mundy pf Cedar City were here attending to business. Visit brother Mr. and Mrs. Aftori Bird of Nephi were her last week visiting their brother, E. H. Bird. Front Oodnr Mrs. G. H. Parry of Cedar is here visiting her brother Dr. Charles Par-rish. Par-rish. In shopping Curn Smith made a shopping trip into Milford Tuesday from his ranch near Frisco. From Calicntc Mrs. LaVon Bird arrived here from Caliente last week to visit with her sister-in-law, Mrs. E. H. Hird and family. From Mincrsville Norville Lightner came in from Minersville Tuesday to attend to business in town. To Inglcwood Mrs. Harry Livergood left for a vacation in Inglewood last Tuesday. She had planned on leaving the pre-ceeding pre-ceeding Friday but was delayed until un-til Tuesday. Here on business H. G. Brown of Manti, Bert Lock-hart Lock-hart of Salt Lake and F. W. Ciayton of Salt Lake were here this week attending at-tending to business,. From Salt Lake Mrs. J. E. Johnson of Salt Lake spent the week-end with her husband in Milford. Business visitor W. D.
