Show MILFORD FRIENDS REGRET ROY COWAN .Milford friends of Roy Cowan have recently learned of his death Sunday afternoon at Cedar City where he died in a hospital from Injuries In-juries suffered in an automobile accident ac-cident last Thursday near Parowan. Death was caused by a basal skull fracture, internal injuries and a broken breast bone, hospital officials offic-ials reported. Mr. Cowan was a grocery salesman, having represented the Symns Utah Grocer company of Salt Lake In this district for 25 years. He was born in Salt Lake in February, Feb-ruary, 1878, a son of John S. and Elizabeth Anne Cowan. The family moved to Nephi In 1888 and Mr. Cowan had lived there since that time. He is survived by his widow; seven sons and daughters, Stellman E. Cowan, Provo; Marie, Rulon, Arthur, Ar-thur, Thomas, "Jack" anil Virginia Cowan, of N'ephi; and six sisters and brothers, Mrs. Alva Stout, Salt Lake; Joseph W. and T. B. Cowan, Mrs. Rhea Iieagley and Mrs. Lucile Hunt, Nephi, and Gibson Cowan, Provo. ' |
