Show SOUTH MILFORD Miss Ellen Agren of the U. A. C. Home Economics Division gave a most interesting demonstration before be-fore the Social Hour club members last Monday afternoon at the club house. The project was dress fitting, and her talk was so clear in detail that it proved most helpful to those who try to sew at home. Director Wm. Petersen of U. A. C, with County Agent, Lew Mar Price, spent last Monday checking underground under-ground water in this vicinity and talking talk-ing over the water situation in general gen-eral with the farmers. Elmer Golden of Delta is building barns and corrals on his farm east of J. G. Weber's. He is also remodeling his garage into living quarters for his family who will move here the first week in May.- A. R. Richardson of the Ogden stock yards was here last Thursday and Friday and with the asiistarce of Dr. Addison Bybee and El lon Cates verc able to secure several nundred tons of hay to be baled an 1 shipped to the stock yards at Ogden. A luncheon carrying out a perfect black and white color scheme is planned plan-ned for serving at the club house at 12:30 p. m. on Tuesday, April 28 for the men attending the Holstein-Freis-ian Day. The committee of ladies in charge are as follows: Mesdames J. G. Weber, Chester Haskell, Abe Hes-lington, Hes-lington, Addison Bybee, Horace Palmer. Pal-mer. The Social Hour Club will meet Thursday afternoon, May 7. Hostesses Hostess-es will be announced later. |
