Show u AUXILIARY GIVES VARIED PROGRAM Varied and well selected numbers appeared on the program sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary at the high school Friday afternoon. Mrs. Myron Lewis acting as master of ceremonies introduced Mrs. Gwen Smith who presented the first number, num-ber, a piano selection played with feeling and pleasant technique. Mrs. Louise Campbell then gave the reading "I'm lots of help to mother." A charming little impression of a child's mistaken point of view which was convincingly interpreted. Mrs. Campbell was accompanied by Mrs. Tribole. A paper explaining the advantage of play at home was then read by Mrs. Annie J. Atkin who pointed out that parents do not need to wander far for the fountain of youth when they can find it in their own homes by playing with their children. The program was closed with a song by Mrs. R. E. Ellingsworth whose pleasing soprano is always well received. |
