Show LOCAL SHOTS TO ATTEND MEET HELD AT NEPHI Members of the Milford Valley gun club who are planning on attending the Sportsman's Riot which will be held in Nephi next Saturday and Sunday Sun-day have received programs listing the events of the big shoot an are anticipating an-ticipating a day of real sport and entertainment. en-tertainment. The shoot is being sponsored by Russell Howkins, president of the East Juab Fish and Game association who tried out the Milford traps several sever-al weeks ago and at the time extended his personal invitation to the local gun club members to attend the sporting event in Nephi. ' The shoot is authorized by the Pacific Pa-cific Trap shooting association, and their rules will govern the events. The scores made during the shoot will be included in the official records which will be published in January 1932. An additional trap has been set up at the trap grounds north of Nephi, and the two traps will be used for the big shoot. Program: Saturday, April 25th at 2:00 p. m. Afternoon shoot will be 50-15 yard targets. 12 pair doubles. (Not registered) 7 until 8:30 p. m. Banquet and program at the Forrest Hotel. 9 until 12 p. m. Dance at the Arlington Arl-ington Hall. Sunday, April 26th, 9:30 a. m. 100-16 yard targets. 25-23 yard targets. 25 pair double targets. Thirty-two Nephi merchants and business mien have donated prizes and money for the shoot which will be awarded to the high scorers. Local sportsmen attending the meet are Tom Mastros, Spence Schow, R. Beck, I. Fitzgerald, Ed. Peterson and Dan Davis. |
