Show 1 1 1 - Confidence Resolutions Minutes of the meeting of the parties in interest in the Sevier Bridge Reservo.r, held at the office of Messrs Story & Steih-meyer Steih-meyer in Salt Lake City, Utah, on the first day of July, 1915. Be it remembered, that at a meeting of the parties in interest in the Sevier Bridge Reservoir, held at the office of Messrs Story & Steigmeyer in Salt Lake City, Utah on the first day of Jaly, 1915, at which the Sevier Land & Water Company was represented represent-ed by Vice-President, Mr. Frank Kimball, the Deseret Irrigation Company was represented by its President, Mr. Milton Moody, the Melville Irrigation Company was represented by its Presiden4, Mr. H. E. Maxfield, and Delta Land & Water Company was represented by Mr. Walter I. Moody, its President, and Mr. Geo, A- Snow, its Vice-President, the question as to the future arrangement ar-rangement to be made for the joint handling of the gates of the said reservoir and the measurement meas-urement and division of waters impounded therein and released therefrom was brought up and after being duly discussed it was, on motion made by Mr. Kimball and carried by the unanimous vote of all present at the meeting meet-ing with the exception of Mr. Maxfield, who voted in the negative. nega-tive. "Resolved, that the present employment of Mr. Fred W. Cot-trell Cot-trell as the joint representative of the four companies in interest to have charge of such measure-ri'nt measure-ri'nt and division, be discontinued discontinu-ed from this date, and it is Further resolved, by the unanimous unan-imous vote of all present at the meeting that Mr. J. W. Thurston Thurs-ton be employed as the joint epresentative of all the parties n interest to perform the duties leretofore discharged by Mr. Cottrell, to serve during the joint pleasure of the parties in interest, ind it is Further resolved, that Mr. Maxfield, Mr. Milton Moody and Vlr. McPherson, the latter as representative of the Delta Land & Water Company, be and they ire hereby authorized to employ Mr. Thurston in such capacity at i salary to be determined by the committee, it being understood ;hat each party in interest shall pay its proportionate share of Mr. Thurston's compensation, iuring the current year, according accord-ing to their several interests in ;aid reservoir below the sixty ,'oot contour. On motion of Walter I. Moody, ;econded by each person present it the meeting, the following ireamble and resolution was un-inimously un-inimously adopted, Whereas, Mr. Fred W. Cottrell las heretofore been employed by .he several parties in interest in :he Sevier Bridge Reservoir tc supervise the measurements oi .he water of said reservoir and the distribution thereof, and Whereas, his employment in such capacity has this day beer terminated by the joint action ol the parties in interest for reasons .vhich do not in any respect re-lect re-lect upon either his ability or i itegrity, and it is the desire of ill parties interested to express their confidence in Mr. Cottrel! and their appreciation of the faithful ani efficient service which he has rendered in the past, Therefore, be it resolved, that each and all parties in interest in said reservoir do hereby ex-ress ex-ress their entire confidence in Mr. Cottrell's ability and integrity integ-rity and do further express their appreciation of the faithful and efficient service which he has performed in the past in discharging dis-charging his duties, as aforesaid, afore-said, and it is Further resolved, that a copy of this resolution be furnished Mr. Cottrell and also that a copy be sent to the Millard County Chronicle for publication.
