Show Academy. There is no better way of judging what a school is, 'than by judging its products. For example:-out of the class of graduates from Hinckley this ; year, 42 boys and one girl are going on missions, 4 are to teach school this yeaT and 5 are going to College. As to what the other few are going to do we are not in a position to say at this writing. But if we were to follow7 fol-low7 back each successive year for five years and note what each graduate of the Millard Academy have done and what they are now doing, we are sure that the people would join in saying "Long live the Millard Academy, and may its future be even more bright and prosperous than it has ever beem before." A most exquisie entertainment in a social way was given on Tuesday by the B. G. H. Club of Hinckley, in honor of their departing de-parting missionary, Arnold Workman. The affair took the form of a progressive supper. When the last word had been given in arrangements guests began be-gan to arrive at the home of Miss Lapriel Robinson where they were entertained in a jolly fashion during the first part of the evening at the conclusion of which was served the first course of a most delicious four course supper. When the guests had copclud-ed copclud-ed their quarter of the festivity they, were introduced in a very novel manner, the lady to an escort es-cort and the escort to his lady and the first move in the progression pro-gression was on. The setting for the 2nd course of the evening was at the home of Miss Bly Moody, where the spirit of the evening was truly demonstrative. It was here that the main course was served and not complimenting one feature of the program more than another anoth-er it was certainly up to standard. In order to avoid any moving of a serious notice, at each move in the progression the lady had a new escort and the escort a new lady. The 3rd move in the progression pro-gression led the party to the home of Miss Mary Cropper, where the "baby grand" and melody featured only second to the 3rd or salad course in the festivities. fest-ivities. The home of Miss Viable Parker Park-er was the final setting of the Desert course of a supper decidedly decid-edly notable for exellence. The atmosphere throughout was strikingly of the 400 class and all in attendence express themselves as having had a social treat never to be forgotten. The people like new things and improvements, they believe that "slow and steady wins the race." This is just the thing that points to the paving of our sidewalks. Yes, indeed, Hinckley Hinck-ley is to have a few payed sidewalks, side-walks, the bids are out and the town officers are busy getting all further arrangements made. But we are only sorry that the pavements pave-ments can't extend in those parts of town where walking, in times of wet weather, is almost impossible due to the heavy clay. But the citizens of Hinckley arj still boosting and we think we are safe in saying that in a few years the pavement will be e. -tended to these districts. One of our prominent citizens is erecting two cottages on his lot for the use of Faculty members and students. We are proud to learn of this fact and we only wish more of our patriotic citizens citiz-ens would do the same. Last Sunday the time in the afternoon services was given over the Academy speakers those who are boosters for the school.
