Show Commencement Exercises of H. H. S. Commencement exercises for the gradutes of the Hinckley High School will be held in the ward chapel Thursday evening, May 17 at 8:30 p. m. The theme of the program pro-gram will be "The Light of the World." Each honor student will give a short talk. Supt. A. N. Mau-ghn Mau-ghn will be the guest speaker and will award scholarships. Principal Joe Buchanan will present the class for graduation. School board member mem-ber E. J. Eliason will present the diplomas and extend a few re-1 marks. Music will be furnished by the seniors and the chorus. The honor students of the 1945 class are- Cherol Reeve, with the highest scholarship rating in her class, who will be awarded a scholarship schol-arship to the University of Utah. She is the daughter of M-S Arthur Reeve. Delma Jean Webb will be awarded award-ed a scholarship to the BAC. Merodean Peterson will be a-warded a-warded a scholaarship to the BYU. Stanley Dewsnup, a $100 scholarship scholar-ship tot the U of U through FFA. Tenna Jensen, scholarship to the U of U. Dee Wright, first alternate to U SAC. Helen Webb, 'first alternate to BAC. After the Commencement exercises exer-cises the commencement dance will be held in the gym. The hall is being decorated with a patriotic theme by the senior class. The entire en-tire ceiling is being made into a huge American flag of crepe paper, j |
