Show Funds for Cancer Go Over the Top In Recent Drive The drive to raise funds to combat com-bat cancer is succeeding far beyond be-yond the expectations of the committee com-mittee headed by Mrs. Vera Hilton. West Millard is fara over its quota with seven districts yet to be heard from. Mrs. Dudley Crafts, treasurer of the funds reports, the collections as follows: F. L. Bvron $50.00 I. ions Club 22.25 South Tract, Mrs. Teeples 14.00 Oasis, Mrs. Bishop 18.00 Deseret, Mrs. Dewsnup 22.75 Leamington, Ruth Finlinson 18.25 Oak Citv, Harriet Finlinson 25.62 Callao, Mrs. Tripp 13.00 Topaz, Mrs. R. Bell 90.00 TOTAL $273.97 The drive has been extended to May 15 to allow the districts that have not reported to do so. Topaz has reported the highest percentage over its quota of any of the districts. There they had a quota of $7.00 and sent in $90.00, roughly 13 times their quota. Mrs. Bell handled the drive at Topaz, which she did exceptionally well. |
