Show Friends Meet At , Quilting Party Mrs. Chlora Twitchell entertained entertain-ed a group of ladies on Tuesday afternoon, at a quilting party, in honor of her cousin, Mrs. Lila Steel Judd, who is visiting here. There were eighteen ladies present, and friends and relations of Mrs. Judd. Two quilts were put on the frames, and the guests quilted and visited. Refreshments were served later. . Mr. and Mrs. Clark McCullough returned to Delta Tuesday night, from a trip to Salt Lake City. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Greener, who have their little lit-tle child in the hospital there for treatment for an allergy. His condition con-dition is improving, and they expect ex-pect to bring him home in a week. Dr. Gordon Anderson, from Long Beach, was in Delta Thursday, to visit Dr. and Mrs. James M. Alexander. Alex-ander. Friday Mr. and Mrs. R. It. Batt drove in from San Diego, and visited the Alexanders, and left Sunday for Norfolk, Va. Miss Donna May Ross, who has been cashier of the Western Pacific Pa-cific Depot Cafe, at Wendover, Ut., will join her brother Richard L. Smith on the Bus as he comes through Wendover. Donna, who will spend a week home with her brother and parents, will leave the first of the month for New Jersey, where she will visit vis-it with her mothers folks, Paul Whitman, for two weeks and then leave for New York, where she is taking a modeling dress course. |
