Show Attend Wedding In Los Angeles Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Tangren, for many years residents of Delta, and now of Salt Lake City, made a trip to Los Angeles this past week to attend the wedding of their son, J, Bryce Tangren. The bride was Miss Helen Chamberlin, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ralph V. Chamberlin, Chamber-lin, of Salt Lake City, and the ceremony cer-emony took place Saturday evening, even-ing, July 27, in the Wee Kirk o' the Heather. Bryce attended Delta schools, and was at the U. of U. when he entered the service. He was stationed in India, and returned return-ed to the states during the winter. After his discharge he entered the U. of U. again, and was graduated in June. He and his bride intend making their home in California. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Sampson, and their thirteen months old son, Ricky, are visiting in Delta with Blaine's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A-lonzo A-lonzo Sampson, and family. Blaine was recently released from the service, ser-vice, after his return to the United States from Japan, where he served as a captain. He was at Nagoya, Chief of Supply and Welfare Section Sec-tion of 30th Military Government. Mr. and Mrs. Sampson intend to visit here another week before returning re-turning to Seattle. The Garden Club will meet on Tuesday night at the Seminary. Miss Dorothy Deaton, from Sal-ina, Sal-ina, is visiting in Delta at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Verna Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Jos Smith arrived home Tuesday night, when he underwent un-derwent an operation. He is doing nicely, but will have to go back in two weeks for further treatment. |
