Show - V - f , . u RECEIVES CERTIFICATE. Paul Fullmer, right, is presented a certificate and cash award by Forester Bob Childs. Recognition was for Outstanding Performance. Fullmer receives cash award Forestry Technician Paul Fullmer was recently presented an Outstanding Performace Award and a check for $150.00 for his supervision of the Fire Control and Timber Stand Improvement Im-provement activities on the Cedar City Ranger District, Dixie National Forest, according to Ranger Rollo Branson. In a recent awards ceremony Forester Bob Childs presented the award to Mr. Fullmer and read the following commendation: com-mendation: "Mr. Fullmer has demonstrated above average performance in carrying out his assignments. His devotion to duty, willingness to assist others and constant display of initiative further exemplify his high standards and capabilities. He has served as District Fire Control Officer and through his diligence and supervision has kept the number of acres burned to a minimum. He has also supervised the District Thinning Crew, maintaining a high level of moral and personnel safety with a crew pertorming a hazardous but repetitious job. Mr. Fullmer provided for the proper care and maintenance of the large inventory in-ventory of power saws required for this job and is considered to be an authority in power saw maintenance on the Forest." During the summer months, Mr. Fullmer lives at the Duck Creek Field Station with his wife, Diann and their four children. Frequently, while Paul is fighting fire, Diann takes over as emergency dispatcher on the two-way radio, directing men and equipment to the fires. Paul and Diann also serve as a source of information and assistance to the Forest recreation users in the Duck Creek Area. During the award presentation ceremony, personnel on the Cedar City District congratulated Mr. Fullmer on his awared and expressed appreciation ap-preciation for his fine work. |
