Upon completion of the program, each student took a comprehensive written examination on engine rebuilding. A score of 70 percent or higher on the test earns the student a certificate. This is a great asset to the students when they search for a job. The program was instituted two years ago, but wasn't used last year. The advisor, Keith Parke, plans to continue the program next year. Students receiving the awards included Paul Savage, Mike Seely, John Gingham, Tony Lister, Ray Mackleprang, Ron Dobson, Boyd Redington, Joe Armbruster, Gerald Pollock and Steve Jenson.
