Show J.A.Cullimore to address Stake confab Elder James A. Cullimore, an Assistant to the Council of Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at the Cedar City Utah Stake Conference Saturday and Sunday, February 23-24. Elder Cullimore formerly was a mission president in England. Prior to nis present Church assignment in 1966, he was a Church leader and furniture business executive in Oklahoma. The visiting church authority will speak on the Conference theme of "Latter-day Saint Home Ideals." Special emphasis will be given to the role of husbands and wives in the Church. Brochures of President N. Eldon Tanner's October, 1973, General Conference talk on "The Role of Womanhood" will be distributed to the women of the Church by the Relief Society (Mormon Women's Auxiliary). President Tanner, First Counselor Coun-selor in the Church's First Presidency, in his talk said, "From the beginning God has made it clear that woman is very special, and he has also very clearly defined her position, her duties and her destiny in the divine plan." The Conference session will be held Sunday. Stake President Daniel Boyd Crawford, 163 North 300 West, Cedar City, welcomes all visitors. |
