Show Robinson family. She and Mrs. Robinson are sisters. Mr. Van Leuwen will join them here later. Antone Robinson left on Sun. for a business trip to Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ward of Parowan were the speakers in Sacrament meeting on Sun. They reported some of their experiences ex-periences on their mission to Tonga. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Fretwell and family of Rock Springs, Wyo. visited here recently with Mrs. Ruth Board-man. Board-man. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Sierra Madre, Calif, are here for a summer vacation. Mrs. Mary Robinson left for Brigham City on Sat. for a visit with the Keith Peck family. . , Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson and family of Salt Lake City spent last week in southern Utah, part of the time in Paragonah with the K. "Doyle Robinsons and a few days in St. George with Geri's parents. On Fri. evening a family gathering was held at the Doyle Robinson home with the Cedar City members present making 28 together for a picnic party on the lawn. . - ' Mrs. Irene Robinson traveled to Orem on Sun. with grandson Steven Edwards of Cedar City to visit for a week or so with family members. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Benson and young son of Hawaii visited here last week with the Myron Abbot family. Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Talbot and children of Washington were Sun. visitors at the Orson Talbot home. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mellor and children of Lake Shore visited here from Fri. to Sun. with Anna's people, the Orson Talbot family. On Sat. the Mellors, the Talbots also Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot and their Rosenberg grandchildren grand-children all went to Beaver to attend a. Gale family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. 'Jimmy Lamoreaux and children of Layton were here to spend the holiday weekend with the Clark Lamoreaux family. Brad Lamoreaux is home on leave from his army duties at Fort Hood, Texas. His folks went to Las Vegas to meet him a week ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mortensen and two children of Tooele arrived here on Tues. to spend a couple of weeks vacation time with the Clark Lamoreaux family and with relatives in Parowan and Cedar City. Mrs. Sarah Robinson was brought from Richfield on Sat. and taken to the Valley View Medical Center for treatment. Mrs. Stella Edwards returned home on Tues. after a stay in a Salt Lake City hospital. Her daughter, Mrs. Flossie Harris of Cedar City spent several days here with her. Mr. John R. Lister was released from the hospital on Tues. of last week and is convalescing con-valescing at home following surgery. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lister have received word of a new grandchild, a girl, born on Sat. in a Provo hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lister of Price. Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Robinson of Parrha, Idaho visited here last Tues. with their Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. They were accompanied by a daughter Mrs. Linda Mark and were enroute home from a mission to Texas. Mrs. Etta Goodwin of Las Vegas and her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Ken Olive and family of Reno were in town on Fri. to visit with the Rex Goodwin family and their Lister relatives. PARAGONAH NEWS A former Paragonah resident, Mr. Terry Lund passed away at his Salt Lake City home on July 10 and the funeral and, burial were in the Capitol City on Sat. Mr. Lund was born in Paragonah July 7, 1900 to Alfred W. and Susan Terry Lund. He married Nora Hall May 20, 1925 in the St. George Temple. He was active in church and civic affairs as long as he lived in Paragonah. Survivors include his wife, a son Alfred Lloyd of Granger, a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Maxine) Breinholt, Salt Lake City, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a brother Willard H. Salt Lake City, sisters, Mrs. Frank (Roxa) Reber and Mrs. Owen (Grace) Cox both of Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Reber visited in Paragonah with the Wilson Lunds on Sun. enroute home from the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Abbott of Richfield and Mrs. Carol But-terfield But-terfield and three of her family of Ogden were in this area for the weekend, to visit family members mem-bers and to attend the wedding reception for their niece Susan Rasmussen. Young David Butterfield remained here with the Myron Abbott family and Dana Abbott went to Ogden with the But-terfields. But-terfields. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb, Mrs. Gjnger Hulet and Mrs. Melva Barton traveled to Provo on Fri. to attend the Temple wedding of Ivan's granddaughter, Jillynn Stevens of Cedar City. They also attended the wedding dinner which followed. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb traveled on to Salt Lake City for the Democratic convention. Miss Gladys Edwards is in Cedar City visiting with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Dix. Mrs. Patsy Cutler and her little daughter Lora arrived home on Fri. after a week in Salt Lake City with relatives. Mrs. Carmen Topham was in. Beaver recently for an overnight visit with Elmer and Carla Evans and their two children and attended at-tended the baby's christening. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine, J. Jones traveled to Nephi Fri. to meet the J. B. Jones family and bring Jeffrey and Janet back to Paragonah with them. Todd Robinson recently arrived home from a trip to Las Vegas where he was a guest of the Darrel Thornton family. Mrs. Idella Rdbinson has received word of a new great granrk hild, a boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Robinson in Provo. Mrs. Pat Van Leuwen and five children of Seattle, Wash, arrived here on Wed. for a month or so visit with the Antone |
