Show Music Arts slates Opera Ala Carte performance here - ' . 1 '"h I t . fx A delightful treat is in store for area residents March G, as the Cedar City Music Arts Committee Com-mittee presents, Opera ala Carte in "Highlights from Gilbert and Sullivan". This operatic hit will begin at 8:15 p.m. in the C'odr High School Auditorium. Opera ala Carte, was founded in 1970 by Richard Sheldon, who has earned critical acclaim in a wide variety of Gilbert and Sullivan roles on both sides of the Atlantic. The company vividlv portrays in opera and concert, the brilliant satire and authentic style of the Gilbert and Sullivan experience. The troupe, composed of six professional operatic singers and an accompanist, will present selections from Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Mikado and The Sorcerer, just to name a few. Music Arts patrons will be admitted with their season ticket. SUSC students, junior high and high school students will be admitted free with their activity cards. Elementary school children will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Individual tickets will be sold at the door for $3.50. A ticket will be required for pre-school children. ro API-EAR HERE.
