Show Mysticism seminar slated March 3 "Everyone has a mystical side of his life. That is the part that senses that there is more to life than just logic and reason. It has to do with knowing something without knowing how you know it. Or you could call it experiencing ex-periencing life beyond the five senses. We use the sixth sense more than the other five without being consciously aware of it." "The mysteries and mystical . ii.i Ms. Houk is a member of the Board of Directors of the Inner Peace Movement, as well as Promotion Director for Arizona. IPM is an educational, non-profit organization with international offices in Washington, D. C. "Many great, really spiritual people have been noted throughout history. They are sometimes writers or philosophers who are widely quoted. People hang on their words becuase there is a human hunger for spiritual knowledge. But their words are just a theory until a person can experience it. A mystic is a person who wants to realize truth, not just think it," said Ms. Houk. "You have it, you can do it, too" she said. "IPM has tools and techniques that help people realize that they can do whatever they dream of in life." Ms. Houk believes that people have unlimited potential in what they can accomplish in life. They just need to tap their inner wisdom. MARY B. HOUK experiences in many world religions are basic truths available for everyone to put into practical use in their lives." These are the beliefs expressed by Mary Houk. She will be giving a lecture in Cedar City sponsored by the Inner Peace Movement. This will be in the Sugar Loaf Cafe on March 3, at 8 p.m. |
