Show Standards night held by Parowan Mia Maids PAROWAX - On February 18. the Parowan Stake Mia Maids held their Mia Maids Standards night in the Parowan 3rd Ward Church. The night began with a delicious dinner consisting of Ham. salads, relish trays, rolls, punch, and blueberry dessert A program followed. It was started by a violin solo by Kalene Jones Dana, Alinda and sister Baker presented mother-daughter talks on the theme "Re Thou an Example." Denise Pendleton, then played a piano solo. The Mia Miads from Summit presented a choral reading. They were followed by a guitar and vocal duet by Jill Urton and Wendy Stubbs. The guest speaker. Sister Alene Felix talked on woman hood. She was followed by a vocal selection entitled "You'll Never Walk Alone" by the Mia Maids from Summit. The closing prayer was given by Lisa Robinson. Sister Pauline Hulet is the stake ad visor for the Mia Maids. She did an excellent job. Donna Ahhctt was the youth chairman. |
