Show Rams defeat Cowboys in 'barn-burner' Rowley, gave the Hams the 62-59 victory. Leading scorers were Brent Rowley with 18 points and 2 rebounds. Fife had 18 also and 7 rebounds. Kim Bess had 9 and 3 rebounds, Mike Evans had 8 and 9 rebounds, Robinson had 3 and 4 rebounds, Pat Benson had 2 and 3 rebounds. Thornton had 4 and one rebound. This weekend the Rams travel to Beaver on Friday, and meet North Sevier on the Parowan Court Saturday. the end of the first quarter, then the Rams forged ahead to a 27-26 lead at half time. Third quarter buzzer saw Kanab ahead one point 41-40. Then with two minutes to play Kanab was ahead 57 to 53. Rowley put up a shot missed and Evans got the rebound and laid it in for two bringing the score to 55-57. Kanab came down the floor with three on one and missed a layup. Pat Benson picked up the rebound, and passed to Mike Thornton, Thornton put up a 20 fooler and tied up the game. Overtime play, with some crucial shots from Brent PAROWAN Parowan's strong Ham basketball team picked up two wins over the weekend downing Enterprise En-terprise 76 to 64 and edging out the highly ranked Kanab Cowboys 62-59 in overtime play. The Rams now have a 4 win 3 loss record in league play. The Enterprise Wolves fell behind 28 to 17 in the first quarter, and couldn't ever quite catch the Rams, scores by quarters were 28-17; 28-17; 43-36; 53-50 and the final of 76-64. Mike Evans was the big gun for the Rams with 24 points, and 15 rebounds. Rowley poured in 17 points and got 2 rebounds, Brad Fife hit for 14 and 5 rebounds. Mike Robinson had 9 and 7 rebounds. Kim Bess hit for 12 points. Saturday evening the Rams met the Kanab Cowboys in a hot contest on the Rams home court. Coach Ralph Riggs and his team were supported by a packed house of Parowan Fans, and they were not disappointed by the exciting action in the ballgame.
