Debbie Allen for the Braves hit a double, Alan Burton three singles, Dan Robinson a single, Renato Matheson doubled and got a single. Cleone Lawrence got a triple. May 11, the Reds defeated the Mets 19-2. The Reds were strong as they went against the Mets. The Mets just couldn't get moving. Hitting power for the Reds included Shawn Robb a homerun and a single, Dan Evans two doubles and a single with 3 for 3. Robbie Stevens got a homerun, singled and doubled. Cris Robb hit a double and a homerun and Alan Hanks got a double. The Mets only got 3 hits, Tony Orton hit a double and Kelly Orton got a single and a double. Winning pitcher for the Reds was Cris Robb. 1 Kelly Orton was assessed with the loss. May 12, the Reds defeated the Braves 11 to 4. Coming on strong once more the Reds overpowered the Braves with hitting power. Robbie Stevens hit a homerun and in the top of the third with the bases loaded a grand slam! May 10 saw the Cubs win over the Braves by a slim one run margin, winning pitcher for the Cubs was Travis Griffitts. Losing pitcher for the Braves was Mike Robinson. The Cubs were consistant in their hitting and scoring, with the Braves not able to get things going.
