Many critics consider Molier the greatest author at comedy and he stands today as France's greatest playwright. Scopin is one of his finest plays and exhibits the foolish weakness of the people of his time. He makes fun of lawyers, and lovers, pokes even more fun at misers. His sarcastic dialogue and stock characters seem to be the magic needed for an evening at good entertainment. Tickets are available at the door. Curtain time is 8:15. |
