Thanks goes to Mrs. Agness Arns for sharing this recipe. WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS Stir 1 Tb. honey into V2 cup warm water. Add 2 Tb. dry yeast and let stand for 10 minutes While letting yeast stand, mix the following ingredients thoroughly in a heavy duty mixer: 5 cups whole wheat flour 1'2 Tb. salt 1 cup powdered milk Then add: and mix about 5 minutes with a mixer) y-i cup shortening (or cooking oil) 4 cups warm water 1 2 cup honey 2 eggs (beaton) Then add yeast to the above mixture before adding 4 to 5 cups whole wheat flour. Continue kneading for at , least 10 minute. Put dough in large greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let rise until double in bulk. Roll dough out to a 2 inch thickness on a greased board.
