Show ' 1 j f BPW members hold Dinner Meeting By Candace L. Ewlng Members and guests of the Cedar City Business & Professional Womens' Club assembled at the Town & Country Restaurant for the regular dinner meeting Wednesday, May 11, 1977. President Blanche LeBaron presided and introduced guests. She announced a meeting at the Cedar High School Cafeteria, sponsored by the Niki Club Girls. The subject of the meeting will be "The Needs of Cedar City". She also presented Pauline Nelson, who is the winner of the Triple Heart Award, in the form of a pin, for bringing four new members into BPW Club. Blanche LeBaron introduced Mrs. Lana Johnson, who teaches English at the Junior High School. She is a prospective member of our club. New officers for 1977-78 j will be installed June 15, i 1977. Pauline Nelson spoke on . the "Perspective for Women" in which she ex- pressed the desire to see BPW take a more active role in leadership. The following f people put on a humorous skit illustrating the problems faced in applying f for work. They were Ella f Van Groningen, Charles f Garfield, Barbara Cowley, ; Doris Williamson, and Joyce Slack. ? The next regular meeting will be held June 15, 1977 at ! the Town & Country Restaurant. I. |
