Officers of the Cedar High School Band will assist in final symphonic and jazz band concerts to be presetned this evening, Thursday. They are: Back, Stephen Hunter, Mike Graf and Paul Hatch. Front row includes, Craig Embley, left and Kim Christensen. Season closes with Band Concert The Cedar City High School symphonic and jazz bands will present their final concert of the year Thursday, Thur-sday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m. The early time will permit the audience to attend other programs that evening. The band program is designed for the listener. Selections will include: "The Sound of Music," Sousa's "Stars & Stripes Forever." "Go Down Gamblin' " and a special number "Doc's Holiday" featuiring James Ketch as trumpet soloist. The high school bands have completed a very successful year. The jazz band was the top 3A band in the state and the symphonic band won top Region XI honors. The bands are directed by Larry Wright. |
