Show Kanarraville By Carma Williams By Carma Williams The 4th of July was a very special day one of the best celebrations we have had. So many former residents and friends from surrounding towns and states were here to enjoy the day. The visitors were to numerous to single out anyone that I may miss someone, but we did welcome them all back and hope they will join us again. Bevan and Doris Williams and granddaughter Emily Baldwin from Seattle, Wash., Roscoe and Georgia Williams from San Bernardino, Ber-nardino, Calif, spent several days here with their sister, Mrs. Gwen Davis. While here Bevan has been working on his new home. Tressa Cornelius and two daughters left Sat. to spend a week in Anaheim, Calif. Bevan and Doris Williams and granddaughter Emily Baldwin from Seattle, Wash., Roscoe and Georgia Williams from San Bernardino, Ber-nardino, Calif, spent several days here with their sister, Mrs. Gwen Davis. While here Bevan has been working on his new home. Ms. Tressa Cornelius and two daughters left Sat. to spend a week in Anaheim, Calif, with her sister and brother-in-law Verna and Jeff Briggs and family. Mrs. Lou Ella Hawkins left Monday to spend a couple of weeks in Las Vegas, Nev. with her son and daughter-in-law Chick and Carolyn Hawkins and family. Ethna and Barbara Williams drove to Salt Lake City to get Shannon Christy and Amy Williams daughters of Lauralie and Terry Williams from Eugene, Oregon. The girls will spend two weeks here with Ethna and Barbara. Norman and Carol Murdock, Jim and Dana Murdock and family spent the weekend in Five-Mile Parowan Canyon attending a Lang reunion. Many relatives and friends attended the testimonial in New Harmony Sunday for Gary Prince, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Prince who will leave July 15 for the Jouston, Texas Mission. Robin and David Rose from Las Vegas, Nev. are here spending a few weeks with their grandparents Ross and Opal Williams. ' Virgil and Belle Davis had a family get together Sat. at Oak Grove. Six of their seven children and families were there. Kathy and Larry Bulloch and family who live in Casper, Wyoming couldn't come but J.V. and Avey Davis and family. Deanna Davis and family of Cedar City. Dick and Lennis McDonald Mc-Donald and family and Helen both from Murray. Russell and Diane and family and Helen's daughter and son-in-law Diane and Don Briething and daughter Taylorsville, Ut. Alan and Retta Davis and family, Las Veeas Nev. were all there. Jill Zohner of Las Vegas, Nev. is here visiting her grandparents Joe and Chloe Leeder and Mrs. Ferl Zohner. Mr. Ronald Williams manager for the SUSC college farms went on a five day trip to Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and New Mexico to buy Rams for the farm. Boyd Reeves and sons Corory and Leslie of St. George, Devon and Faith Reeves and family, Cedar City spent Wed. here with their parents Lynn and Ella Reeves, it was Lynn's 70th birthday. Bert and Roberta Eastman East-man enjoyed a visit from Bert's nephew and wife Mr. and Mrs. William Boltman from Atlanta, Georgia Sunday. Reed and Bernice Williams, Bud and Lynn Williams and family, Kenny and Angie and family, Kietyh and Sharon Williams and family, Vicki and Tony Cornelius and son attended an Iverson reunion in Washington, Ut. at the home of Victor Iverson. Verl and Fonda Beckstead spent two days in Bryce Canyon. David Ence of Salt Lake City is here to spend a few weeks with his mother and sister Nedra and Liz Ence. |
