Show So West Realty leads Big Leaguers S-Western Realty 7 3 BradshawChev 6 4 Park's Sportsmen 4 6 Morton Metal 3 7 Southwestern Realty after holding a comfortable three game lead last week dropped a pair and the Cedar City Big League standings began to tighten up. The first loss came at the hands of second place Bradshaw Chevrolet who rode the strong pitching of Charlie Judd to victory. In a good pitchers battle Judd came out with the victory allowing just two hits and collecting 13 strikeouts along the way. Hurling for Southwestern South-western was David Mid-dleton Mid-dleton with a fine effort, but with errors behind him could not hold Bradshaw. Southwestern failing to score in the first six innings got men on first and second with two out. Middleton doubled to score one run but the potential second run was thrown out at the plate. Saturday night it was Park's Sportsmen who came from behind to down the league leaders by a score of 15-7. Southwestern took an early 6-0 lead by the Sportsmen Sport-smen and came bounding back to take a lead at 7-6, it was tied again at 7-all before Park's Sportsmen pushed in nine runs to take command and pick up the win. Oscar Hulet and Randy Soderquist were on the mound for the Sportsmen's. Leading hitter was Oscar Hulet who collected three hits in four official trips. Bradshaw Chevrolet continued their winning ways Saturday with a 6-0 shut-out victory over Morton Metal. Kerry Cox was on the mound. He gave up only three hits and had 14 strikeouts in the contest. The Bradshaw bats were also heard from with Charlie Judd and Kevin Robinson both belting home runs in the contest. In other action of the week it was Morton Metal with a 3-1 3-1 win over Park's Sportsmen. Sport-smen. Lance Prestwich picked up the mound victory giving up only three hits. Dean Miller, suffered the loss. Brent Crandall was the top hitter of the game with two hits in three trips for Morton Metal.
