Show ACT Registration May 25 The registration deadline for the next American College Test Assessment (ACT) wilk be May 25 at Southern Utah State College. The actual test will be administered ad-ministered at SUSC on June 23. The three hour and 15 minute assessment measures a student's achievement levels in math, natural science, English and social science in terms of local and national percentiles, Jim Piacitelli, SUSC Counselinng and Testing Coordinator, said. An interest inventory is also included with the test. This inventory takes about an hour to complete and is taken when the student registers to take the ACT. "Entering freshmen are no longer required to take the ACT to be admitted to SUSC," Piacitelli said. "They are, however, encouraged en-couraged to submit their ACT scores to SUSC because they provide a valuable - counseling aid." "This inventory helps the student confirm or decide upon his or her vocational choice and educational major.
