Show Dr. Woolsey enters Pioneer Marathon Dr. Warren M. Woolsey has been selected to represent the Cedar City Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers as a marathon runner in the Trail Relay from Nauvoo, Illinois to the This Is The Place Monument in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 145 runners will cover 1400 miles in 8 days. Dr. Woolsey will run 10 miles beginning at 1:20 p.m. and finishing by 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. He will run at Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Dr. Woolsey has been training since Mid-February and is currently running 35- 40 miles per week in preparation. The runners will carry messages from the governors of the states they travel across. The final runner will headquarters building will he dedicated and President Spencer W. Kimball and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be at the program. Dr. Woolsey was born in Kscalante and attended the schools there where he lettered in baseball, basketball and track. He served a mission in Australia and then married Kathleen Marsh, also of Escalante, in the St. George Temple and they are the parents of three sons. A graduate of SUSC, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery at St. Louis University in 1970 and has been practicing dentistry in Cedar City since then. He is immediate past-president past-president of the Sons of Utah Pioneers, Cedar City Chapter and Cedar City Kiwanis Club. He is a past-president past-president of the Southern I'tah Dental Society and is presently serving in an LDS Bishopric. DR. WARREN M.
