Show Myrtle Colvin celebrates 90th Birthday I 1T"E7ix 1 7' M-Ji.: Thirty friends joined with Myrtle Colvin, 294 N. 800 W., in the celebration of her 90th birthday. Included in the callers were the 15th LDS ' Ward Relief Society, the United Presbyterian Women and friends from the Catholic Church. Ellis and Myrtle Colvin came to Cedar City in 1925 from San Bernardino, California. Ellis, who died in 1967, had been in the business of selling and installing in-stalling water pumps until his retirement. Two nieces from California joined in the celebration: Mrs. Deana De Montmorecy from San Diego and Mrs. Alexa Robinson from Modesto. A birthday cake, complete with 90th Year pennant and candles was made by Dorothy Hanson and beverages were furnished by Velma Lun-dgren. Lun-dgren. Myrtle is confined to her home but enjoys visits from her old friends if they will ' first give her a call. She expresses her thanks to the many who called and made her birthday such a memorable occasion. CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY. Fridends gathered recently to help Myrtle Colvin celebrate her 90th birthday. They presented her with a birthday cake complete with 90 candles and a 90 year pennent. |
