Show School District sell used Trucks Three surplus vehicles from the Iron County School District fleet were sold this past week at a bid opening held in conjunction with the regular Board meeting. A 1950 dump truck was sold to Ira Schoppmann, the high bidder at $459.00. Two pickup trucks, a 1955 and a 1956, both Chevrolets, were sold with Clark Dennett of C r-r...i.l.Ui.-.,J,iil,,J.,.,.i.i,,il.,.,....,,l.ll..ii and C Company the high bidder for both units. The 1955 unit was sold for $151.51 and the 1956 unit for $251.51. In addition bids were opened for the sale of a one story home, owned by the District and located on property at 50 West 200 North in Parowan. The home is to be removed from the site. Two bids were received with Ivan Robb of Paragonah, the apparent high bidder at $2600. The Superintendent was authorized to negotiate with the high bidder since there were stipulations in the bid, not included in the call issued by the district. |
