Show Hetfie Pollock, dies k lit. lt,llsLiimdL- HETTIE I. POLLOCK Hettie Isobelle PoIlock,85, died Jan.7,1979 at her home in Kanarraville, Utah of natural causes. Born May 30, 1893 in Kanarraville, Utah to George Alma and Sarah Isobelle Hales Davis. Married Byron N. Pollock Jan. 4, 1912 in Parowan, UUih. He died Feb. 3, 1941. Mrs. Pollock was a homemaker and an active member of the LDS Church. She is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters; Roma Wood and Lois Williams, both of Las Vegas, Opal Williams of Kanarraville, Keith Pollock of Enterprise, Garth Pollock of St. George and Gary Pollock of Win-nemucca, Win-nemucca, Nevada. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, grand-children, 25 great grandchildren grand-children 4 brothers and a sister, Virgil Davis and Ferl Zohner both of Kanarraville, Lionel Davis of Henderson, Nevada and Dayton Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1979 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kanarraville L.D.S. Ward Chapel. The family prayer was offered by Garth Pollock with Jackie Dixon playing the prelude and postlude music and Bishop Norman Murdoek conducting. con-ducting. Musical selections consisted of "Sometime We'll understand", and "Wonderful Mother of Mine" and a song by Mrs. Pollock's grandchildren. Speakers were Dr. J. S. Prestwichand J. S. Williams with a eulogy given by Keith Hayes. The invocation was offered by Byron N. Williams with Emmerson Williams giving the benediction and Richard Rose dedicating the grave. Interment was in the Kanarraville Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
