Show Preparations completed for County Store Bazaar Craft and sewing projects are nearing completion, and items are now being collected for the various units of the Country Store Bazaar to be held Nov. 5 in the Ballroom of SUSC, Susan Foster, Chairman for the fund raising project reminds that the proceeds will go toward the purchase of Infant Care Equipment for the Valley View Hospital, but that the items sold at the Bazaar will be of special interest for Christmas shoppers. i Antiques, white elephants, canned goods, and unused children items are wanted for completing some of the Country Store units. Pickup for these items may be arranged by calling Susan Foster 586-4653, or Brenda Stewart 586-9809. Mrs. Foster also reminded the persons wishing to donate bakery goods that these donations should be delivered fresh, by 6:00 the evening of the Bazaar. Non perishable items should be turned in if possible by ., November 3. All displays will be ready for the public to pre-view by 6:30- 7:00 Saturday evening Nov. 5th. The sale will start at 7:00. Additional work materials were donated this past week by Mrs: Loraine Nelson and by Beverly Grimshaw. The work groups have accelerated ac-celerated their output and many practical as well as pretty items are being completed. There will be things for children, adults, and some items especially for College students. There will be workshop Friday 10-12 in the basement of the .Chamber of Commerce Com-merce Building, and a Saturday workshop from 9-12 9-12 in the Basement of the Presbyterian Church. |
