Show Literary Club Opening Social Topham led the group in singing the new Parowan Song. Those attending voted to give past president Gwen Jones a vote of thanks for her excellent leadership during the past year. Delicious refreshments were served by hostesses Ethel Bayles and Jean Hendrickson. The next meeting will be held at the home of Delia Gurr. PAROWAN - The Parowan Literary Club held their , opening social recently at the home of Mrs. Zona Topham. Fifteen members attended. President Gwen Jones installed new officers for the coming year and presented the new program booklets to each member. These booklets were dedicated to two departed members Mabel Wilcox and Edna Hatch. New officers for the 1977-78 1977-78 year are Eulala Orton president, Alice Barton, vice president; Delia Gurr Secretary and treasurer; I delta Robinson assistant secretary and treasurer. Wednesday, October 19, the club met at the home of Ethel Bayles for the first regular meeting of the year. The Lesson titled "A Century Cen-tury of Ladies Literary Clubs was presented by Mrs. Bayles.
