Eggert, form-priv form-priv of the Iron County School District, will be the consultant consult-ant ir the Institute, which will be held at the Cedar High School, according to Clair Morris, superintendent. The 1972-73 calendar for the Iron County School District, has been announced by the Board of Education. The sched. ule calls for 180 days of Instruction In-struction with school to begin on Thursday, Aug. 24 and closing on May 24, 1973. Administrative perso n n e 1 and teachers will begin an Institute program on August 21 for the purpose of preparing prepar-ing for the opening of school and two days will be provided, Tuesday and Wednesday, August Au-gust 22 and 23, for the pur-pose pur-pose of working in the schools in preparation for the opening. open-ing. Following the opening on August 24 the balance of the calendar is as follows: Sept. 4: Labor Day Holiday. Sept. 28-29: UEA Convention. Conven-tion. School will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 27. Oct. 20: Deer Hunt begins, 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23: Veterans Day Deer Hunt vacation. Nov. 23-24 Thanksgiving holiday, begins 22nd at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 22: Christmas Vacation. |
